Algorithms

Have you heard of the word algorithms before? Algorithms gathers data to compute reoccurring or common interest. Algorithms are used to track what you search, view, and things you are interested in. It’s like it keeps the information you viewed in some sort of hard drive and when you log on to a different platform, you see the same thing or something similar pops up! Sounds like Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Pandora, or TikTok right? However, I’m referring to the devil, not social media. Satan watches your every move in real life.

1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be alert and of sober mind. Your enemy the devil prowls around like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”-NIV.

Although we have entered a new year, Satan’s, tactics, and tricks are not new. He knows what temps you. He prowls and preys on your insecurities, vulnerabilities, and wounds to see how he can cause you to fall. He wants to use your past struggles and disappointments, in hopes you will lose your faith and drift away from God. Satan is working overtime to see to our destruction, downfall, or weakening. He has no compassion, he is not interested in the healthier you, or what you are going through. All he cares about is that there is or will be a wedge between you and God. He wants to remind you of your failures and weaknesses. Do not let him! After Jesus fasted for 40 days and 40 nights, Satan came to tempt him because he knew he was vulnerable and hungry. But Jesus spoke against it. Declaring man shall not live on bread alone, but every word that proceeds out of his mouth. You and I can do the same. Next time you recognize an old thought pattern or habit you have struggled with in the past or may still struggle with, speak against it with the word of God. It is the authority he has given us as believers. God will never lie, and Satan can never tell the truth. We must recognize Satan’s tactics because they never change. Stand Firm.
